<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend a tail of a signal to allow an image in an angle direction to be enlarged and displayed by filtering an input signal which is an original signal through an LPF. SOLUTION: An input signal from a target is input to a level calculation circuit 14. A distance recognition circuit 12 supplies distance informationγto the level calculation circuit 14 and a filter coefficient calculation circuit 16. The level calculation circuit 14 amplifies a received signal based on the distance informationγ. The filter coefficient calculation circuit 16 calculates an LPF coefficient according to the distance informationγand supplies it to an LPF circuit 18. A level comparison circuit 20 compares an output from the LPF circuit 18 with the input signal in level and outputs the results to a selection circuit 22. The selection circuit 22 selects the larger signal based on the comparison results and inputs to an arithmetic circuit 24. The arithmetic circuit 24 performs various arithmetic processing to provide an output signal from a radar image processor 10. Thus by filtering the input signal through the LPF circuit 18, a tail of the signal may extend and a signal with a predetermined amplitude which is not present in an original signal can be produced, thereby allowing an image enlarged in an angle direction to be displayed.</p> |
