PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assign an identifier (identification number) automatically and efficiently to identify solely a terminal equipment in a network in a communication system conducting 2-way communication via a network having a function for connection of 1:n form. SOLUTION: A center equipment sends a terminal assignment request message requesting the assignment of a terminal ID by using a prescribed control channel of a network (101). When a terminal equipment not assigned with the terminal ID receives the terminal assignment request message from the prescribed control channel, the terminal equipment sends a terminal assignment request reply message being a reply to the received terminal assignment request message by using a prescribed control channel of the network (102, 104). After the center equipment receives the terminal assignment request reply message from the prescribed control channel of the network, the center equipment exchanges a message with respect to the terminal equipment sending the message to assign the corresponding terminal ID to the terminal equipment (105-110). |
