<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to suppress the occurrence of the defect which arises during the course of an array forming stage by forming gate wirings by using transparent conductive materials, then connecting these gate wirings and shorting rings to each other by nonlinear elements. SOLUTION: Resistors consisting of the transparent conductive materials and resistors consisting of the nonlinear elements 5 as first conductive thin films 4 are formed on shorting terminals 3a for electrically connecting the respective wirings of the source wirings and the gate wirings and the shorting rings. Namely, the first conductive thin films 4 are so formed as to connect the shorting ring terminals 3a to the ends of the gate wirings 2. Further, the nonlinear elements 5 are so formed as to connect the shorting ring terminals 3a to the ends of the source wirings 1. The source wrings and the gate wirings are conducted to the shorting rings disposed in the outer peripheral parts of the display section juxtaposed with both wirings so as to be respectively paralleled with each other.</p> |
