PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select such frequency so as to reduce electromagnetic wave interference in a radio system as a whole. SOLUTION: At least one of a master machine 1 or an extension 2 contains a frequency deciding means 11 which decides radio frequency which is used for communication and an interfering number detecting means 12 which detects the number of radio communication equipment which exist within a receptible range of telegraphic messages that are transmitted by a radio transmitting and receiving means 3 or 8 and an interfering number storing means 13 which stores the number of interference which is detected by the means 12, and the means 11 which can select the frequency in which electric wave interference is reduced in a system as a whole even after an operation of a radio communication system in order to decide the frequency which is used for communication based on the number of interference which is stored in the means 13 by means of the control from a control means 6 or 10.
