The invention discloses a massage apparatus (1) consisting of a treating head connected to a suction circuit, said treating head comprising a housing containing an inner chamber (3) inside which opens a suction circuit, and in which the skin fold formed by the suction effect when the apparatus is applied on the patient, rests directly on the convex lower edges of said chamber. It is characterised in that: the chamber (3) open at the base forms a window defined by two side walls (4) and two transversal walls (6, 7), the skin fold (10) formed by the suction effect resting at least against the edges (8, 9) of the transversal walls, said edges shaped like convex surfaces with diverging curvatures; the active surfaces constituted by the lower edges (8, 9) of the transversal walls can be displaced for varying the spacing between two predetermined positions.
