PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable presentation in accordance with a presentation state of the time holding the meaning of an original information in accordance with the variation of a presentation state, also to enable presentation having good efficiency in accordance with system processing capability distributed to each media. SOLUTION: A multi-media information accumulation device 1 divides multi- media information into the minimum presentation units in meaning, importance on an original multi-media information and data capacity are added as attribute information and accumulated for each unit. A multi-media information presentation device 2 decides presentation/non-presentation based on importance and data capacity for the minimum presentation unit in meaning and presents it in accordance with a presentation state. Or, the device 2 decides presentation/ non-presentation based on importance and data capacity for the minimum presentation unit in meaning of each multi-media information and presents it in accordance with presentation priority indicated by an user and processing capability of a system of the time.
