<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a managing device to detect the generation of abnormality at a terminal by judging that failure is caused at a prescribed terminal when any response to an inquiry from a managing device is not made from the prescribed terminal, and when there is not any record that a normal power source off signal is received from the prescribed terminal. SOLUTION: A memory 24 for recording a normal power source off signal receives a normal power source off signal from a terminal, and records a pertinent terminal ID and the normal power source off-signal. A controlling part 22 and a data transmitting and receiving part 21 periodically make a state inquiry to the terminal by using a communicating function, and judge that failure is caused at the terminal when any response to this inquiry is not made from the terminal, and when there is not any record that a normal power source off-signal is received from the terminal. A failure managing data base 23 registers the occurrence of the failure at the terminal. Moreover, the controlling part 22 and the data transmitting and receiving part 21 report the ID of the terminal at which the failure is caused to a preliminarily registered destination in detecting that the failure is caused at the terminal.</p> |
