<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synchronization pickup circuit, whereby synchronization re-pickup is repeatedly executed, even after the initial pickup. SOLUTION: The synchronization pickup circuit of a rake receiver is provided at the receiving side of mobile radio communication by a spread spectrum communication system, so as to use a synchronization pickup system where a correlative operation is executed, while changing the phase of a reception side spreading code, a synchronizing position is judged and a spreading code phase which is judged to be the synchronizing position is assigned to a synchronization followup part. The synchronization pickup circuit is provided with a synchronization pickup control part 11 which inputs an initial pickup start signal, executes an initial pickup operation and also repeatedly executes the synchronization pickup operation with respect to the entire phase range of the reception side spreading code and a follow-up position storage part 16 which inputs the synchronizing position obtained in the initial pickup operation and the synchronization pickup operation after that and executes reassignment to the synchronization follow-up part, when the synchronization position is different from that of the last time.</p> |
