PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly execute the reception work of a copying machine connected to a communication line by means of a server with comparatively small performance by permitting the respective copying machine to periodically access to the management file of the self client directory of the server. SOLUTION: The server is provided with a client list file storing the belonging parts of the copying machines, client directories generated for the respective belonging parts and a picture file directory storing picture data and the like transmitted from the respective copying machines. At the time of reception, the control parts 24 of the respective copying machine accesses to the self client directory of the server, checks the total number of received documents of the reception header management file and recognizes whether received data exists or not. When it exists, a document header file name is obtained, the picture file directory is accessed, the picture file which fits to a document header file name is obtained, it is temporarily stored in a memory part 25 and compiling work is executed based on processing information. Then, data is outputted to a printing part 23. |
