<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the congestion control method in which data abort on the occurrence of congestion is suppressed and re-transmission control between transmission reception terminal equipments is prevented to the utmost. SOLUTION: In the congestion control method conducted by nodes N1-N4 which have a data flow monitor function monitoring a data flow flowing through a transmission path is a preset specified value or below and a self- routing function selecting a data transmission path automonously. When a node predicts it that its own node may reach a congestion state by using the data flow monitor function, the node sends the data received newly back to a pre-stage node being the data supply source and inhibits the reception of new data from the pre-stage node. When the congestion state of its own node is relieved by the detection of the data flow monitor function, the node releases the inhibited input of data from the pre-stage node being the data supply source.</p> |
