<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a test-lead banana plug which is suitable for use together with a testing and measuring apparatus and to obtain a compatible input plug socket by a method wherein the shielded test-lead banana plug and the input plug socket corresponding to it are provided. SOLUTION: A shielded test-lead banana plug is provided with an internal conductor 34 and with a conductive internal shroud 36 which is coaxial with the internal conductor 34 and which is arranged by keeping an interval from the conductor. The internal shroud 36 is constituted in such a way that it is situated at the outside of the internal conductor 34 and that it is pulled into from the end of the internal shroud 36. A nonconductive external shroud 44 is arranged by keeping an interval from a conductive shield 42, it is concentric with the shield, and it is extended so as to exceed the tip of the internal conductor 34. An input plug socket 32 is provided with a conductive internal sleeve 50 which receives the internal conductor 34, with a nonconductive sheath which is coaxial with the internal sleeve 50, which is extended so as to exceed the internal sleeve 50 and with a conductive external sleeve 54 which receives the conductive shield 42.</p> |
