PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To express a data distribution state so as to easily understand it by analyzing the distribution of plotting data, and when the data distribution is biased, adjusting a scale value so as to correct the bias and almost uniformly distributing the number of plots between scales. SOLUTION: A data value analyzing part 12 inputs data 11 and finds out the number of data and the maximum values of X and Y axis. A scale calculation part 13 calculates a scale division value, previously sets up the division number of a scale as a parameter and divides the input data 11 by the number to find out the number of plots in the scale to be divided. The X-axis values of the input data 11 are sorted in the descending order and the value of a term at the site of an integral multiple of the number of plots in the dividing scale or a convenient value close to it is designated as a scale division value. A graph plotting part 14 sets up the maximum values of the X and Y axes and uniformly arranges the scale division values found out in the X and Y axes and displays the arrangement on a display device 15. |
