PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accomplish connection without any collision by providing a working chamber filled with viscous fluid and a storage chamber serving as a reservoir for the viscous fluid, regulating a filling ratio between both chambers according to the condition, and connecting action of a driven side element to that of a driving side element via the working chamber. SOLUTION: When a pressure is applied to a working chamber 7 from the radius direction inside area via a pressure source 26 and a pipe 24 and a regulating device 59 is operated so that viscous fluid in the working chamber 7 is held in a storage chamber 8 via a communication part 9, rotation of a casing 1 by means of a belt 57 is prevented from being transmitted to a rotation element 6. The rotation element 6 interlocks while accompanied by a slip, when the regulating device 59 is controlled, the storage chamber 8 is pressurized and energized by means of a pressure source 27 via a pressure tube 23 and a conduit tube 12, a part of the viscous fluid inside the storage chamber 8 is pressed out into the working chamber 7 via the communication part 9, and the radius direction outside area in a shear clearance 5 is filled with the viscous fluid. When the storage chamber 8 is pressurized maximally while the working chamber 7 is pressurized minimally, rotation is transmitted without any slip. |
