摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the fluctuation of outer diameter caused as the step part of a tip end of an insulated electric wire goes more out of a terminal seal part by installing a cooling terminal sealing mechanism, which seals between an elevating pipe part and an insulated electric wire at the terminal of a cooling chamber, in the elevating pipe part. SOLUTION: The inner circumference of a crosslinking pipe 3 and the outer circumference of an insulated electric wire 1 are sealed by utilizing an elevating pipe part 3A of the crosslinking pipe 3 and a cooling chamber terminal sealing mechanism 17 supported in the elevating pipe part 3A. At the time when such a cooling chamber terminal sealing mechanism 17 is moved downward, pressure of a cooling medium 5 in a cooling chamber 6 affects on the cooling chamber terminal sealing mechanism in the moving direction of the insulated electric wire 1, pulling force is applied to the insulated electric wire 1, and sagging of the insulated electric wire 1 existing in a heating chamber 4 in the crosslinking pipe 3 and the cooling chamber 6 is eliminated. Even if the linear speed of the insulated electric wire 1 increases due to that a step part 15 of the tip end of the insulated electric wire 1 passes through the cooling chamber terminal sealing mechanism 17, the increase is therefore not transmitted to an extrusion head 8 side. Consequently, the outer diameter fluctuation can be suppressed by the linear speed increase of the insulated electric wire 1.
