<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a high-place working and attach surely, continuously and automatically a cable ring to a supporting wire, by moving the cable-ring receiving portion of an automatic cable-ring attaching device, so that a cable is embraced therein to fasten the first and second fastening portions of the elastic wires of the cable ring to the supporting wire. SOLUTION: A cable ring 10 comprises a seat plate 12 and two elastic wires having in their respective end portions first and second fastening portions 14, 16 to be fastened to a supporting wire 22, and holding embracingly a cable 20 on the seat plate 12, the first and second fastening portions 14, 16 are fastened to the supporting wire 22 from under it to supportingly string the cable 20. Also, an automatic cable-ring attaching device 26 has a device body 28, a cable-ring feeding portion 30, a cable-ring receiving portion 32 and a cable- ring fastening mechanism 34. Further, mounting a driving pulley 42 and an idling pulley 43 on the top surface side of the supporting wire 22 strung tensely between poles, etc., the device body 28 is hanged from the supporting wire 22 in the form of a gondola to move the device body 28 in its longitudinal direction by the driving rotation of the driving pulley 42. As a result, high-place working is dispensed with, and the cable ring is attached to the supporting wire 22 continuously, surely and automatically to make a smooth and highly efficient stringing work of the cable realizable.</p> |
