Brake system for quick clamp mounting on in-line skates

The brake system incorporates a lever (1) which can be pulled by the skater. The lever is bent into a U-shape to prevent it from catching in obstacles. A brake block (2) is mounted at the rear end of the lever. The brake system is connected to the skate with a quick clamp mechanism. When the quick clamp is open, the side parts (5) of the clamp mechanism can be pushed, into cut-outs (6), between the frame (7) of the skate and the mounting head of the quick clamp mechanism.
