Continuous plant-cultivation and harvesting system in greenhouse

The plants are accommodated in pots or troughs (2) containing substratum material and which are adjustable to the desired height. Before the beginning of the growth season, the greenhouse and pots are chemically or biologically disinfected, the pots or troughs being set at a convenient working height. New plants are then inserted between fully-grown ones still present from the previous season. Further adjustment is then made as necessary, to bring the crop from the fully-grown plants to convenient access height. During the growth season, the new plants are tied to a support, while height is adjusted so that the fully-grown plants remain at a lower level. The old plants are harvested and removed. The height of the new plants is adjusted as necessary for harvesting. This and planting are continuous and cyclical.
