Air conditioning water supply pipe incorporating sandwich electrolyser

A continually-operated assembly decontaminates and provides prophylactic treatment of a water supply of potable quality, to technical installations such as air-conditioning plant. The novelty is that (a) the water supply pipe incorporates an electrode plate assembly (8); (b) a water turbulence generator (7) is located upstream of the electrode plate assembly (8) within the pipe; (c) the electrode plates within the assembly (8) form a sandwich, with end-electrodes (9) and bipolar electrodes (10) acting as cathode and anode sandwich plate resp. unit (d) and that the current supply for the cathode and anodes are located at the extremities of the outer electrodes (11).
