The wash brush plant (24) comprises a control unit to regulate the press-on force of a spring element (54). The control unit has a guide section (51) which is movable relative to the washing brush (39) by means of a guide drive (47). The guide section has a spring mounting attached to rotate around a vertical axis on the frame (14). The guide drive is activated in dependence upon the spring force created on the brushes by the spring element.
