<p>Hexaazaisowurtzitane derivatives of general formula (I): WAnN(6-n) [wherein n is 4 or 5; As are each independently C1-C10 acyl; N is nitro; and W is a hexavalent hexaazaisowurtzitane residue of general formula (II)] having one or two nitro groups; hexaazaisowurtzitane derivatives of general formula (III): WAnNS(6-n) [wherein n, As and W are each as defined above; and NS is nitroso] having one or two nitroso groups; hexaazaisowurtzitane derivatives of general formula (IV): WAmH(6-m) [wherein m is an integer of 4 to 6; H is hydrogen; and As and W are each as defined above]; and a process for the preparation of hexanitrohexaazaisowurtzitane of formula (VI): WN6 [wherein N and W are each as defined above] by nitrating these derivatives with a nitrating agent.</p> |
