<p>This invention automates collimation by a light wave range finder, relieves an operator of troublesome operations and secures always stable measuring accuracy. A target mark (11) bonded to an object is imaged by a CCD camera (6) through a collimator lens (5) and the image so picked up is processed by a computer (9) to calculate the center point of the target mark (11). A vertical rotation motor (3) and a transverse rotation motor (4) in the light wave range finder (1) are controlled so that the center point of the collimator lens (5) coincides with the center point of the target mark (11) so calculated.</p> |
