The template (10) is formed from self-adhesive sticking plaster material. It comprises a flat self-adhesive substrate (17), which is transparent to UV light and has an area (12) in the shape of a motif (13), which is opaque to UV light. At least two reference points (19-22) are arranged on the substrate or on the motif area, to align the motif on the skin. At least one reference point (21) may be opaque to UV light. At least one reference point (19) may be a through hole in the substrate.
