Self-propelled cleaning robot with manual or automatic steering

The cleaning robot has a steering lever (10) for manual steering projecting from the rear of the cleaning robot housing (4), provided with a handgrip (20) at its free end, via which it is pivoted for controlling the movement of the steered wheels. The steering lever can be released from its manual steering position and moved along a longitudinal guide into a rest position, in which the handgrip lies closer to the wheels (1,2) of the robot, during automatic steering of the cleaning robot.
