Production of plastic blocks to be made into e.g. ski linings or cutting boards

Objects are made of plastic in a new process. Plastic elements of different colouring are sintered to a block and then surface-treated. In the new process, grains of different colour and size 2mm are used. Also claimed is a ski lining, distinguished by the way its sintered plastic elements are set off by use of colour. Preferably, the grains are coated with contrasting colours before sintering. Paint is used to apply the coloured coating. The grains may be mixed with a powder of contrasting colour and before and/or during the mixing process, a bonding agent is added.
