Cosmetic products for providing protection against sunlight UV radiation

Sun protection agents containing oils, emulsifiers and UV filters use emulsifiers that comprise a mixture of (A) 43-90 wt.% alk(en)yl oligoglycosides and/or fatty acid N-alkyl polyhydroxyalkyl amides; and (B) 10-57 wt.% fatty alcohols. Preferably the oils are chosen from 6-18 (8-10)C fatty alcohol-based Guerbet alcohols, esters of 6-20C straight chain fatty acids with 6-20C fatty alcohols, esters of 6-13C branched carboxylic acids with 6-20C straight chain fatty alcohols, esters of 6-18C straight chain fatty acids with branched alcohols, esters of fatty acids with polyvalent alcohols and/or Guerbet alcohols, 6-10C fatty acid triglycerides, esters of 8-22C fatty alcohols with aromatic carboxylic acids, plant oils, branched prim. alcohols, substituted cyclohexanes, Guerbet carbonates, dialkyl ethers and/or aliphatic or naphthenic hydrocarbons or silicones.
