Drive pin for power transmission

The load-bearing pin (8) is situated between a rotating drive member and a pair of plates (6) fastened together but separated by a short distance. One of the plates is fastened to the clutch plate. The pins may have flat rivet heads at the ends of a cylindrical central pin (22). The central pins are surrounded by tubular sleeves (21) which act as distance pieces. A spider (3), integral with the hub of the clutch has four windows (3b) in radial projections, each containing a spring (4) for torsional damping. The spider is accommodated between the pair of plates and the pins are accommodated in the spaces between the arms of the spider.
