A roller installation for forwarding textile fibres consists of a driven roller (1) carried in bearings in the machine frame (3, 4, 5, 6) and a pressure roller (7) which bears on the driven roller (1). The pressure roller (7) does not have conventional bearings but is held by a guide element (9) which bears against the periphery of the pressure roller (7).
