A power circuit-breaking installation is disclosed with a power switch, in particular an air-insulated, medium-voltage circuit-breaking installation with a vacuum power switch arranged in an withdrawable part. The power switch contains a pole unit and a switch drive and the disconnecting function is ensured by driving the complete power switch or by rotating the pole unit relatively to the switch drive, or by a separate disconnecting switch. The pole unit can be positioned as a pole module (PM) with a force transmission module (KM) in a plane with two degrees of freedom. Such powers witch installations are used for the energy supply of industrial plants.
