The object of the invention is to provide a fast and economic diagnosing process for malign diseases and their precursor stages. For that purpose, arterial and/or capillary blood is sampled and the percentage of three groups of blood cells is determined in the sampled blood. The first group is composed of blood cells /= 11 mu m. The thus determined percentages are multiplied by two weighting factors alpha i and beta i and the values for Y = SIGMA alpha i[(Ni)] - SIGMA alpha i[((Ni)8] and X = SIGMA beta i[(Ni)] - SIGMA beta i(Ni)] are calculated. A uterine cancer or its precursor stages can be inferred from the position of X and Y in an x/y coordinate system.
