The system consists of two spectacle halves (1,2), where both halves consist of frames and glass and are manufactured separately. The connecting together of the two halves can happen at a preferred time. Two stubs (3,4) are provided on the framed halves for attachment to a nose link (7). Two arms (5,6) are also provided.
