The hearing aid comprises a pair of artificial shell-shaped earpieces. The earpieces are fixed behind the ears to suppress undesired sound components arriving from behind the ear. The earpieces are formed from hollow 114 spherical segments of dished plastics held together with a curved earpiece. The earpieces are otherwise formed like a normal headphone.
