Method of testing and determining alloy class of aluminium alloy

The method takes a material specimen from the aluminium plate, dissolving it in hydrochloric acid, and adding nitric acid to the sol. drop-wise to oxidize insoluble copper. It adds a potassium hexacyanoferrate solution to the solution. It determines three classes of aluminium plate using the resulting colour and precipitation reactions. The solution of material specimen, hydrochloric acid and nitric acid is thinned with distilled water.
