Clamp table for holding workpieces

The clamp table has a main body (12) in which are a series of several plunger unit guides (19). The plunger unit guides are parallel to each other and are set into the body with openings onto the outer support face (13) of the body. A number of adjustable tension plungers (14) can slide over a given distance within the guides and can be locked in intermediate positions as required. Positioning pieces (40) are mounted on the plunger units above the outer face of the body. The positioning pieces are threaded and can be locked in place by lock nuts (48). The location and orientation of the positioning pieces are selected according to the shape of the workpiece to be held.
