<p>The present invention relates to different systems for physical training. This system may be used to apply an isokinetic load on the muscles of a subject by extending the flat section of the deformation curve in the elastic deformation region and by maintaining an important flatness on said section. This system also ensures deformation within the limits of movement amplitude for any muscular group when receiving a load ranging from 0 to the maximum a person can bear. Accordingly, this system for physical exercises comprises one or more handles as well as an elastic member made in the shape of n twisted, braided or tied ropes. Each rope is made in the form of a basis that comprises a braided or tied cord, a string or a braided, tied or twisted string made of polymeric resilient materials exhibiting no residual deformation. This method may also use a winding of at least one resilient cord optionally located within a braid made of thread. The handles may consist of sections of the elastic member that are capable of forming a loop around the hand of the subject, or may be made in any other form. The section of the elastic member which is located between the two sections serving as handles, represents the working section of said member.</p> |
