<p>A method comprising at least one first step of degreasing an article to be processed in the presence of a solvent mixture including at least one compound (a) selected from the C1-4 dialkyl esters of at least one C4-6 aliphatic diacid, and at least one compound (b) which is miscible with compound (a) and at least partially solubilises the fat contaminating the article; optionally at least one second step of degreasing in the presence of a solvent mixture including at least one compound (a) and at least one compound (b), as defined above, the ratio by volume of compound (a) to compound (b) being of at least 1; a third step of degreasing in the presence of compound (a); and a step of rinsing the processed article with water. The method enables the use of water-rinsable surfactant-free degreasing compositions.</p> |
