Pipe mat installation method

Feed pipes for the pipe matting are installed in an intermediate ceiling space, a lower ceiling construction is installed, and the horizontal pipe mats are then put in place. All mats are fluid-connected to each other and to the feed pipes, and are tested for seal by hydraulic pressure testing. The lower ceiling construction is formed by longitudinal main profiles and transverse carrier profiles. Pipe mats (1) are suspended between two carrier-profiles (6b), from suspenders (8) via small hooks (14). Alternatively, they are suspended from the main profiles (6a), or adhesive strips tensioned between the carrier profiles.
