A battery compartment, for a pager, has a battery chamber 3 formed with an opening 2 in a housing 1 of the pager to contain a battery X. A battery cover 4 closes the opening 2. A lock handle 7 engages with the battery cover 4 to prevent the battery cover from falling off the housing. The lock handle includes an L-shaped battery push-out piece 10 projecting into the battery storage chamber, and movable to push a battery in the chamber toward the opening, thereby assisting removal of the battery from the chamber. |
