The pump is for a high pressure cleaning device and has a motor and a pump head, which are commonly fitted in a housing. The housing (5) consists of two half shells (6, 7) with cavities (8) parallel to the connection direction of the shells. In the cavities a bearing body (9) made of a rubber-elastic material is arranged. The bearing body has recesses (10) open to the other half shell and parallel to the connecting direction of the half shells. The structural unit consisting of motor and pump head on opposite sides has parallel running projections (4). The cavities in the half shells are pot-shaped. The bearing bodies in the cavities are inserted plugs.
