DRIVER FOR OSCILLATING FRONT GRIPPER OF SHEET-FEED PRINTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To guarantee an effective operation by mechanically coupling a front gripper to a main drive system of a printer and compensating discontinuous energy demand of the gripper mainly by a control driver. SOLUTION: The front gripper 1 has two oscillating levers 7. The lever 7 supports a gripper bridge 16 of the grippers 7 at its end. Mechanical coupling of the gripper 1 to a main driving system 3 is conducted by a transmission lever 25. Supply of discontinuous energy of the gripper 1 specified by oscillating motion of the lever 7 is supplemented by a linear driver 9. The driver 9 accelerates or brakes the lever 7 by a controller 15. The controller 15 obtains data regarding a mechanical position and number of revolutions by an incremental sensor 13 disposed in the system 3 to supply or lead kinetic energy based on a position.
