PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a heat-resistant masterbatch resin which, when blended with an ABS resin and injection molded, can give a molding having excellent characteristics by compounding a maleimde copolymer, a graft ABS copolymer, and an AS copolymer. SOLUTION: This masterbatch resin comprises 50-75wt.% maleimide copolymer having a wt. average mol.wt. of 100,000-135,000, 25-50wt.% graft ABS copolymer, and 0-20wt.% AS copolymer. When the resin contains 25-37.5wt.% maleimide copolymer having a wt. average mol.wt. of 60,000-100,000 and 25-37.5wt.% maleimide copolymer having a wt. average mol.wt. of 135,000-200,000, a molding excellent in the balance between appearance and impact resistance can be obtd. A heat-resistant color masterbatch resin is obtd. by compounding the resin with a colorant. |
