PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cut and recover obstructions without facing to a facing of an operator by installing a cutter and a recovery equipment for the obstructions to a cutter head section in a sealed type shield machine. SOLUTION: A chamber 15 between the partition wall 14 of the sealed type shield machine 10 and a facing is filled with pressure slurry. A cutter 20 has a core cutter 22, is moved in the longitudinal direction of a jack 48, and is housed in the chamber 15 at the time of normal excavation. When an obstruction H is cut, the cutter 20 is projected to a front from the opening section of a cutter head 12, and the obstruction H is cut by combining movement in the radial direction by a jack 46, movement in the circumferential direction by rotating the cutter head 12 and derricking by a jack 42. Cut pieces taken into the core cutter 22 are gripped by the gripping hand 56 of a recovery means 55, and slurry is removed through a carrying-out lock 50 and carried out to the rear of the chamber 15. Accordingly, the obstruction can be cut and recovered without facing to a facing of an operator. |
