PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent rubber from bleeding on the surface of a tooth part during vulcanization molding and rubber powder from scattering out of the surface of the tooth part by treating tooth cloths with only resorcinol-formalin latex and coating the inner surface of at least one treated tooth cloth with a rubber layer. SOLUTION: A toothed belt 1 has upper tooth parts and lower tooth parts which are arranged longitudinally, a core wire 4 is arranged between the upper and lower tooth parts 2, 3, the surfaces of the upper and lower tooth parts are coated with a tooth cloth 5, the inside of the tooth cloth 5 is coated with a rubber layer 6. The tooth cloth 5 is treated with only resorcinol-formalin latex(RFL). RFL is prepared by mixing the initial condensate between resorcinol and formalin with latex, the mole ratio between resorcinol and formalin is for example 1:1-3, the weight ratio between the initial condensate and the latex is for example 1:(1-10). |
