PURPOSE:To enhance the flowability and electrostatic charge level of a toner by incorporating inorg. fine particles having both positive and negative polar groups bonded to the surfaces as a fluidizing agent. CONSTITUTION:The surfaces of inorg. fine particles are treated with both of a surface treating agent having a positive polar group and a surface treating agent having a negative polar group in plate of one of the treating agents or the surfaces are treated with both of the treating agents and an agent render ing hydrophobic property and the surface-treated inorg. fine particles are incorpo rated into a toner. the average particle size of the inorg. fine particles is 1mmum-2mum and the particles are heat-treated at >=100 deg.C before the coupling treatment. A toner having superior flowability, a high electrostatic charge level and superior kick-off performance of electrostatic charge can be obtd. |
