PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate shock-absorbing materials for supporting articles to be packed and integrally form the shock-absorbing function with a support to reduce the number of parts for the shock-absorbing material, by providing a projection arranged in the inside of an L-shaped support at one end of one longitudinal side, in a shock-absorbing material provided with a support having an L-shaped section. SOLUTION: A projection 3 arranged in the inside of a support 2 is formed at one longitudinal side of the support 2 having an L-shaped section and both sides of the support are extended and folded outward to form turned back parts 4, 5. In this way, the whole of the shock-absorbing material 1 is made as a W-shaped form. And on forming the shock-absorbing material 1, metal molds 6, 7 are inclined to form a slant shock-absorbing material. In this way, the angle 8 between the support 2 and the projection 3 can be made to have a right angle without a trimming slope at the projection 3 of the shock- absorbing material 1. Such a shock-absorbing material supports the loading weight in keeping and protects the packed articles. The packed article can be supported by the support 2 and the projection 3 and hence, shock-absorbing materials for supporting articles are not required. |
