PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyester/polycarbonate-based molding material which has not only enough stability to steam, heat, and chemicals but also enough stability to hydrolysis by adding an isocyanate and a specific oxazoline compd. to a molding material comprising a linear thermoplastic polyester and a polycarbonate. SOLUTION: This material is prepd. by compounding 100 pts.wt. molding material comprising 41-99wt.% linear thermoplastic polyester and 1-59wt.% polycarbonate with 0.02-5 pts.wt. isocyanate and 0.02-2 pts.wt. compd. represented by formula I (R1 and R2 are each a group represented by formula II; R3 to R8 are each H or a 1-12C aliph. or alicyclic group; X is a 6-12C arom. group or a 3-12C alicyclic group; a is 0-12; and band c are each 0 or 1). Pref. the amt. of the isocyanate compounded is 0.5-2 pts.wt. |
