PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new compound which can form a color-developed image on a white background, causes color development and decoloration with only difference in the heating condition, has a high color contrast and excellent image preservability. SOLUTION: This compound is represented by formula I (X is -NHCO-, -NHCOO-, -NHCOS-; n is 15-20), typically N-(2-naphthylsulfonyl)-N'-[4-(n- octadecanoylamino)phenyl]urea. The compound of formula I is prepared from the reaction of a compound of formula II (n is 16, 18, 20) with a compound of formula III. |
