PURPOSE:To exactly and simply hold a cap at a proper position in relation to a recorder during connecting period by providing the first and second connecting holders to hold the cap and the recorder in the connected state. CONSTITUTION:A recession 146 is provided in the front face of a cap 140, and a projection 136 to be coupled with the recession 146 is formed on a head unit 110 side. When making recovery operations of a head assembly 130, the cap 140 goes up along rails 141A and 141B, and when the cap 140 faces the head unit 110, the projection 136 is fitted into the recession 146. At the position, the movement of the cap 140 is interrupted. The cap 140 can thus be exactly positioned in relation to the head unit 110 and proper recovery treatment can be realized. |
