FIELD: repair by welding of parts of metallurgical equipment operating under conditions of cyclic thermomechanical load. SUBSTANCE: method includes elimination of thermal erosion cracks to depth equalling 0.8-1.0 of maximum depth of crack development, heating to temperature of not more 400 C, building up of the first layer with current equalling 1.3-1.5 nominal value at which subsequent layers are built up. Building up of the first layer overlaps not more 45% of adjacent welds. After building up by welding, formed surface is machined. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 cl
