PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the containing attitude of an ink pellet from varying significantly. SOLUTION: This ink pellet comprises a solid state hot melt ink having rectangular traverse section being contained movably in the containing groove part 23 of an ink supply system for a tank part such that the hot melt ink can be fed, at a predetermined unit quantity, to the tank part and fused thereat. The traverse section of an ink pellet 20 has a diagonal distance L3, at the part to be contained in the containing groove part 23, being set wider than the width L2 of the containing groove part 23. |
