PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a manual printer in which the manufacturing cost is reduced by eliminating the need of a recovery unit independent from the body and the degree of freedom is enhanced in the design by simplifying the arrangement of a wiper member and a moving mechanism therefor. SOLUTION: Since wiping is performed by turning a recording head 5 to rub a wiper member 19 with an ink jet part 5b, the wiper member 19 is not required to be disposed in a small gap between the recording head 5 and a recording medium P. Consequently, arrangement of the wiper member 19 is facilitated and the flexibility in the design is enhanced. Since the wiper member 19 is built in the body as mentioned above, a recovery unit is not required independently from the body and the manufacturing cost can be reduced. |
